Brad Morris

Brad Morris

Brad joined CCH and the Wolters Kluwer group in November 2011 as the Product Manager of CGT Reporter and the Annual Dividend Book. He is responsible for the product planning and execution of the capital gains tax product suite including gathering market requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with the editorial, sales, product development and marketing teams to deliver best-of-breed products to market and high levels of customer satisfaction. Brad is working closely with accountants, tax experts and financial service providers to help CCH enhance future versions of CGT Reporter, aimed at improving the workflow of its users and increasing efficiencies.

Having worked in product and marketing roles at software companies such as Citect Corporation (now part of Schneider Electric) and LEAP Legal Software; for finance companies in financial planning, accounting, consumer and business lending; and having operated his own marketing consultancy specialising in online marketing, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge to CCH’s CGT team.

Away from work, Brad gets into basketball, martial arts, cycling, the gym, hiking and surfing. He loves socialising, travelling and anything outdoors.

Daniel Wallace

Daniel Wallace

Daniel has been a former member of the CGT Reporter Team prior to the acquisition by CCH. Post acquisition, Daniel has been Wolters Kluwer’s Technical Applications Specialist for CGT Reporter. Daniel is involved in several key aspects of the CGT Reporter product delivery team involved in maintenance of the existing ‘code base’ and day to day management of customer technical queries. He is also involved in CGT Reporter’s major release compilation and enhancements. He has a bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales and his main passions are problem solving and behavioural analysis.

Eric Felipe

Eric Felipe

Eric joined the Wolters Kluwer Asia Pacific Group as Regional Financial Controller in August 2004 playing an instrumental role in developing and implementing the Group's overall strategy and corporate governance practices which has contributed to the Group's on-going success. Eric has played leading roles in the due diligence processes and integration of successful acquisitions into the Group as well as overseeing the finance, internal control, financial systems development and commercial support of various business units. In recent times, Eric has further built up his portfolio of responsibilities by taking a leadership role in a business which he was instrumental in acquiring (CGT Reporter). In addition, he was responsible for driving a major transformational project involving the migration of finance and accounting functions to an outsource provider.

Eric brings a wealth of experience to the Wolters Kluwer Asia Pacific Group, having worked in various capacities for multi-national organisations in the software (Citrix Systems) and services industries (Serco) and in a major Chartered Accounting firm (Ernst & Young). He also has a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a member of the Australian CPA and the Institute of Company Directors.

Outside work, Eric enjoys family life and keeping fit. He is a keen cyclist and one day dreams about climbing ‘Passo dello Stelvio’ in Italy on his bike.

Gurleen Twiggy Tiwana

Gurleen Twiggy Tiwana

Gurleen Twiggy Tiwana joined CCH and the Wolters Kluwer Asia Pacific Group in 2011 as a part of the Books team as a Sales Consultant. Twiggy’s customer focus, professionalism and marketing knowledge led to her current role as CGT & Inside Sales Consultant. She is involved in understanding customer segments, developing marketing strategy, tailoring customised campaigns, updating the customer sales database and analyzing sales results in order to drive future sales results. She’s also involved in coordinating development of client training options, online profiles and gathering customer feedback.

Twiggy brings with her four year of marketing and management experience gained in real estate and higher education sectors in the United States as well as local knowledge of B2B marketing within the IT sector. She honed her marketing planning, strategy, sales skills while doing recruitment for a college of over 15,000 students in the Washington DC area while handling 15 key high schools. She spearheaded the Orientation Program, managed a ten person Student Ambassador program and designed marketing collateral, newsletters, website updates and presentations and campus tours.

Gurleen has completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia in the United States where she majored in both marketing and management.

Outside of work Twiggy pursues her interest in music, sailing, flying, mountain climbing, traveling and volunteer work. She has her eyes set on the next summit after having succesfully scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.

Jimmy Tanzil

Jimmy Tanzil

Jimmy had been a former member of the CGT Reporter Team prior to the acquisition by CCH. Post acquisition, Jimmy has been engaged in our tax research team diligently applying his skills to building our market leading CGT Reporter products. He has qualifications as a B. Comm (Accounting) and, with a Distinction average, has commenced a Masters of Applied Finance to enhance his technical skills for the CGTR product.

Kim Wark

Kim Wark

Kim joined the Wolters Kluwer Asia Pacific Group as the Telesales Manager in December 2007 charged with creating, developing and managing a phone based Sales team for specialty products & regional clients across Australia. Kim continued to develop her team aswell as increasing her responsibilities by managing book sales consultants in the professional market across Australia and in later times across New Zealand. This team later became her main focus area which also encompassed playing a part in marketing to our customers.

Kim is a respected leader capable of building a highly motivated team focused on achieving revenue goals whilst maintain a high level of customer focus. In 2009, Kim was recognized for her team’s sales achievement and was awarded the Sales leader of the year award across the Asia pacific region which also earned her opportunity to attend Achievers Club.

In recent times, Kim has since increased her responsibilities across the group managing all phone based sales consultants, Australia and New Zealand & had been promoted to the Inside Sales Manager position.

Michael Kang

Michael Kang

Michael joined Wolters Kluwer Asia Pacific Group as Regional Systems Development Manager in March 2009 to lead a new systems development team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Michael was instrumental in transitioning various system development and support activities from BackOffice applications to corporate customer facing portals. Recent achievements include development and implementation of new research platform software and tools such as research gadgets, smart charts, decision trees and digital forms. Michael has been instrumental in driving IT innovation in new product development within the South East Asia region engaging customers in Rapid Contextual Design interviews and workshops resulting in various new software and automation projects ie. GST automation, content discoverability, content personas, etc.

Michael has more than 20 years experience in various IT disciplines, specializing in systems architecture and software development. His extensive experience includes managing, engineering and delivering solutions to a number of Multi-National Companies. Other than his technical expertise, in a previous role as Off-Shore Software Director, he gained experience in various management and strategic functions including resource management, planning, KPI enforcement and performance management of project teams dispersed across the globe.

Shahin Basdemir

Shahin Basdemir

Shahin joined the CCH Australia Books Team as a Sales Consultant in August 2011. Through his superior customer service and responsiveness, we asked Shahin to join the CGT Reporter Team as our Specialist Sales Consultant. He is always at hand to speak with our existing valued customers and those interested in our product and service offering and has a vital role in building and maintaining sustainable customer relationships. He is keenly interested in the new market developments within the Tax & Accounting segment and has been a fantastic source of passion and energy for the rest of the CGT Reporter Team.

Warren Marshall

Warren Marshall

Warren Marshall, CGT Reporter’s principal software developer, moved across to CCH as the product’s Consulting Software Architect, when CGT Reporter was incorporated into CCH’s stable in 2011.

Warren’s many software development roles have included Chief Programmer, Senior Systems Analyst and Project Manager, for diverse businesses including major banks and insurance companies. He has been a speaker at several national software development conferences and has taught programming techniques at the tertiary level.

Having gained considerable business experience in banking, insurance and stock market analysis, Warren moved into software development back in the early 1980s, quickly establishing a reputation for successful systems delivery. He began working with Financial Analysis Publications in 1985, developing a series of stock-market-oriented software products and tools, culminating in the CGT Reporter.

Warren’s roles at CCH include software management of the existing CGT Reporter product, and undertaking major CGT Reporter redevelopment tasks in the coming year and beyond.

After hours, Warren plays classical piano, sings in two choirs, listens to his extensive music collection and dabbles in photography, cookery and music arranging.

Jessica Hobson

Jessica Hobson

Jessica has enjoyed a publishing career that has spanned 20 years and two continents. She has worked in a variety of roles and disciplines and brought her versatility and depth of experience to CCH in 2001. Before she joined CCH she worked in Hong Kong, London and Sydney at Time magazine where she honed her publishing skills.

Jessica has held several key positions during her ten years at CCH that include Editor in Chief, Product Director and her current role as Director of Marketing & Product Management. In that time she has developed a deep understanding of the market, strong customer focus and a passion for new product development and go to market strategy. In 2009 Jessica spearheaded an Innovation Program at CCH and is passionate about driving change and bringing exciting solutions to the market that delight the customer and make a professional’s life easier.

Daniel Wyner

Daniel Wyner

Daniel is the Tax and Accounting Segment Manager for CCH Australia and New Zealand. After working within the IT industry for over six years in a range of positions, Daniel made a move into Public Practice Accounting. Starting at an entry level Daniel spent the majority of his time within the Audit team. Whilst working within practice he was exposed to a number of accounting software packages and became the firms trained expert in multiple applications. Daniel joined CCH Software at the beginning of 2010 in a Product management role where he is responsible for the driving the product strategy, development and definition of the Accounting and Audit related software applications. In late 2011, Daniel’s role opened up to look over the entire CCH product offerings (Software, Print and Online Research) to the public practice. Focusing more on what the accountant wants and needs to ensure CCH is always providing value to our clients.

David Stock

David Stock

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in South Africa and subsequently worked as their training manager developing and delivering course material for in-house training.

In 1996, David left the profession and has spent the last 17 years establishing and running various businesses from sports merchandising, to textile retailing, to consulting.

David has a great blend of practical business experience as well as working in public practice. This is proving to be a great combination as he helps users of CGT Reporter to extract maximum value from their software through a series of tiered training offerings designed to build proficiency with CGT Reporter from Fundamentals to Mastery.

David continues to be fascinated by the study of success and entrepreneurship and is an avid reader of non-fiction books. He loves developing businesses and creating experiences with his family built around quality time and travel.
