Help Hotline
Our dedicated staff may be able to help track down information on unlisted entities, clarify unusual or complex events. However, we can't give advice on accounting and tax treatment, merely clarify the facts about an event. Ring (02) 9388-0963.
Source Document
For complex tax matters when accountants need to refer to an authority, an optional feature is the incorporation of Source Documents for those events deemed appropriate.
Just click here to view some samples.
We've captured as PDF files events such as ATO Rulings, Off-market Buy-Backs, Tax Losses on Failure, and Stapling events. These documents range back to 1985.
Share Price History since 1985
A major problem for accountants is when their clients forget to record the price at which they purchased shares. Till now, tracking down such prices was hard work and fraught with difficulty.
An optional extra add-on to C.G.T. Reporter is Monthly Share Prices since 1985, which shows the High, Low and Last price for each month.
It also shows data on companies that are no longer listed.
Export Share Prices at 30th June
In addition to displaying 30th June prices, an optional extra export facility allows users to export prices to Excel (or any other spreadsheet software), or to import into their Superannuation Software.
Tests during development show that the exported data works with most Superannuation Softwares.
Share Registry and www details
A feature since 2004 is the provision of Share Registry data on each company, including postal address, telephone, fax number and email address, hyperlinked so you can email directly.
In addition, we make the web site for a selected company quickly accessible to facilitate other research and communication.
CGT Worksheets
Our worksheets allow you to store a client's investment portfolio transactions and to automatically compute and produce printable reports on the bulk of your client's data, including:
Trusts' Tax Components update (October)
This update is released in October following the main C.G.T. Reporter release in July and includes details of the tax components for all trust distributions.
Mid-year data update (January)
In January we provide a further update CD, incorporating data to the end of the year.
